Garmin remote antenna April 6, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought my Garmin GPS unit in Texas where it worked fine without the remote antenna. When I got back home to Michigan I sometimes had a hard time aquiring a satellite signal. I purchased this remote antenna and so far been very pleased with the remote antenna. I get a very good satellite signal with it and so far it has worked great for me. With my short time using it I would recommend this remote antenna if you are having trouble aquiring a satellite signal.

Great gift for my husband to go with the rest of his Garmin Items. He is still using them and they are sturdy and hold up well.... (HUSBAND PROOF)

NOT REALLY NEEDED AND CORD IS NOT LONG ENOUGH TO REACH REAR OF CAR UNLESS YOU BUY AN EXTENTION UNITS INTERNAL ANTENNA SEEMS TO DO FINE ON ITS OWN EVEN UNDER STEEL ROOFS
Garmin Auto Antenna February 7, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I am very happy with this antenna. It does exactly what it says it will do and was easy to connect and attach to the car. The price was better than the Garmin website and it arrived pretty quickly.
works fine for me January 11, 2007 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
I also have the nuvi 660 and loke it I got bot of these together because I didn't want to have a problem with connecting to sats
without the antenna I get a 20-30 ft accuracy with it is always less than 10 ft most all the time
I use the magnet and have a 99 F-150 and put it on the roof just behind the center brake light I just took out the light and there is holes and you have to use a small rat tail file to make a U shape in the plastic on the light so the wire doesen't get pinched by it when back in place
the only problem with this is the type of wire used is low to med quality wire some high quality shieled wire there would be less leakage and a better signal
