 Disappointing. November 6, 2008
I thought that this case was going to be a perfect fit for my 500GB WD Passport Essential, but I was wrong. I trusted Amazon with this recommendation, but I'm very disappointed. It does have a hard exterior as seen, but the interior is not very cushioned. It has no foam or multiple layers, or anything to cushion the WD Passport Essential. I feel that if my WD fell (while in the case) it would not be protected. If there was some cushion inside, then possibly it would be far more protected and safe. It feels like a waste of $18 for this reason, and because my WD does not fit exactly and can slide around quite easily. I'm just disappointed in Amazon over all, for recommending something so ...cheap?

I recently purchased this case to protect my 320 GB Toshiba external drive. Once again, Case Logic has hit a homerun with this product. It is almost as it was custom made for my drive and seems to be almost indestructable. All of my CD/DVD cases are Case Logic, so I was very familiar with the quality of their products. I would highly recommend this product and also the Toshiba 320 GB external hard drive.

Works great with my Western Digital Passport hard-drive. Nice protection and also place to hold the USB cable. Well-made and worth the price.
