 Works wonders... November 11, 2008
These work wonders on long, frizzy hair. They also work well to just polish/shine naturally straight hair.
Had to buy a replacement though... Went on a cruise and when we got on the ship, we realized that it had been broken somewhere during the trip. Rough baggage handlers are suspected. What broke was the ON/OFF switch... It wouldn't stay on anymore.
I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality straightener... just pack it in your carry on bag though when traveling!

I love this flat iron. It works beyond what I imagined. I have extremely wavy hair but when I use this iron, it makes it pin straight and actually lasts throughout the day. I recommend that if using this iron that you use the CHI iron guard thermal protection spray to protect your hair. The only down side to the iron is that you have to be careful when using because you can easily get burned on the edges. Other than that, it works great!

This straightener is amazing! If you're looking for something to make your curly hair stick straight, definitely purchase this. The only draw back I found was that there are no heat settings. Therefore, it will always be extremely hot. It's not bad for your hair, of course because of its ceramic plates, but it's just something to keep in mind.
