 It works only if you exercise & watch out what you eat! August 17, 2007

I have been on and off Xenical before Allis is available. I was on Xenical because it really works, I was off because it was expensive.
Now comes the Alli - available at the counter & prx is affordable! Yeah!
I tried most of the diet pills/plans on the market for the past 3 years - some gave me headaches, some gave me stomach pain, some made my heart beats really fast, some make me to have diaherra....every sort of side effect you can imagine. Bottom line is - there is no magic to lose weight. If you are on diet pills/plan - one still has to exercise and watch out what you eat. I believe it is a fair statement.
For the side effect - I'd suggest use a panty liner rather than finding spots of orange oil/grease on your panties. I prefer to spend money to buy panty liner rather than taking other diet pills which give me tons of side effect.
If you have been trying so many other diet pills - why not give this a try?

I have been taking Alli for about 4 weeks (I started my lifesyle change a week before I started Alli)and I have lost 18 pounds. However, I can't say that it is because of the Alli since I've had these same kind of results from Weight Watchers. I weigh and measure everything and keep a food journal. My calories never exceed 1200 per day and fat grams are always less than 15 PER DAY. As a result, I have never had treatment effects; and I think those that are, are just eating too much FAT. This is not a magic pill. You have to make the commitment to change how you eat and how much. This is hard work and Alli is not going to do it for you.

This product is possablly a great weight loss capsules, if you can handle
a lot, and I do mean lots of bow movements, you will go till your rear end is so sore you can not sent down.
I guess it is because it is removing the fat content of a meal you just ate.

I have been on the plan for one week and lost 5 pounds! I followed the instructions and limitted my fat intake to under 15 grams per meal and kept to my recommended calorie intake. I did more walking than I usually do. For about three of my meals this week, I forgot to take the pill, but I still lost 5 pounds. As for treatment effects, they are no worse than before I started taking Alli for example when I ate products like CarbSmart icecream which has Splenda in it but a high fat content or when I used to eat fried chicken. I just do like other reviewers on this site have recommended and get to a bathroom if I even slightly feel the urge to go. For someone like myself who has been struggling to lose weight for the past three years, this product is very helpful and is helping me to make the committment to lose weight. Before Alli, I gave up on other diet and exercise plans because the weight would not come off as quickly as I'd hope and that would leave me feeling very frustrated so I stopped dieting too soon. I plan on continuing with Alli and with results like these I will succeed where I failed in the past because I will see the weight come off a bit faster. As another reviewer stated, Alli will help me stick to the program because instead of taking 6-8 months to lose 50 pounds, with Alli I can hopefully cut that down to 4-5 months or less!

I found Alli only moderately helpful and not worth purchasing again.
It only seemed to work for me sometimes, only occasionally working
against the fat in my system.
