5 out of 5 stars Works fine for Dell Dimension 2350 replacement   May 28, 2008
Easy to install. Has both the fan speed sensor and a power plug. Quiet. 3 speeds for RPM (rotations per minute) 1200, 1600, and 2200 corresponding to CFM (cubic feet per minute) or 21, 28 and 38 and corresponding to dBA (decibels/sound) of 15, 21 and 27.

4 out of 5 stars It Works   May 2, 2008
For my noisy Dell Dimension 8400 3GHz, I actually use the lowest speed of the fan for about 2 month now. It is probably 95% quieter than before. I barely notice the noise unless it is a quite night. But it took some work to cut the wires and put my old fan's 4-pin connector to the new fan - only need to connect 3 of the 4 pins.

5 out of 5 stars Great item at great price.   February 11, 2008

This fan worked perfectly on my Dell Dimension computer. I followed the installation advice from post I had seen on the web and all is well.

Thanks.

5 out of 5 stars Quiet and Log-Lasting   January 11, 2008

Simply a good fan with a 3 speed manual control. I used this fan to replace the stock (noisy) Dell fan in my Dimension 8400 and it has been running efficiently (and quietly) for over a year now. FYI, the white wire can also be used to satisfy the Dell BIOS reqirements for fan detection on the 8400 but this would require a wire splice and should only be attempted by someone with a solid technical background.

5 out of 5 stars Quiet cooling computer case fan   May 12, 2007

This is an excellent cooling fan - quiet, easy to install - make sure you get the double ball-bearing version - like this - there is a cheaper version available without the bearings.

Great product... I got 2 units for my 680i based Intel Core 2 Duo system!
