 Nice set of bits, bad carrying case. January 20, 2008

I ordered this drill bit kit and it was lost in shipment, so Amazon sent out another. I received the first kit afterwards, and decided to keep both and paid for both since these were useful kits. The drill bits and bits are nice quality, but the same cannot be said for the carrying case, especially the small bit carriers.
In both cases, the smaller bits arrived loose out of their respective slots. In both cases, the little carrier cases had broken tabs, so they cannot be closed securely (i had to use Scotch tape to tape one of them shut). Not a big deal since I won't be using the small bit carrier cases much.
Overall, if you want nice set of drill bits, this kit will do for the price. Just don't expect the secondary part of the kit (the carrier cases) to be up to quality.

This was very well packed by Amazon.
It has a very nice assortment of bits and is a great addition for the new lithium-ion drill I received for Christmas.
The bits are good quality and the case is nice and keeps it all well organized.

The tools were nice, but the case had a broken latch so I can't give it as a gift as I had planned. I guess I could have returned it, but what a pain.

good set of drill attachements. Probably the best drill set you could buy for under $30. Would definitely reccommend.

I bought this set to make sure I have everything I need for drilling and driving screws. The set gives me that and more! It's really a great combination of accessories that would be difficult to find for anywhere near the price of this one. The downfalls to the set are first off that it appears the set was stored in a damp place or somehow got water in it because a few pieces are rusty. The second is that the case is cheaply made. It has a place for everything but it doesn't all fit snuggly and some items fall out easily when you open the case. Neither was enough reason to be concerned about but if they are items you would worry about keep them in mind.
