 Beautiful flites, a great price February 8, 2008
These are very different from the discontinued lenox floating crystal flutes (which have been discontinued) and the Swarovski flutes (which cost about $300 for the pair).
They are lovely, and for the price a wonderful alternative to spending hundreds. The main difference is that the crystals hidden inside of the stems are larger stones, making it appear like they are stacked one on top of the other. But for $30, I'm not complaining. They are beautiful, and I recommend them to everyone.
They are substantial in weight, and would look lovely displayed.
They came in a padded secure, felt lined box. With ANY stemware being shipped, breakage is an issue. They aren't made poorly. You have to keep in mind that anytime a fragile item is shipped , there is a chance it could break. Insurance on any fragile package is recommended. My flutes came intact and completely scratch-free and damage-free.

These flutes are beautiful. I used them at my wedding and I had no problem with them breaking. In fact, mine have done some serious traveling. I had to pack them in my luggage and take them to the Bahamas, (where I was married) and then home again (NY). The only reason I need to replace them is because one fell off a shelf. I love these flutes and would recommend them to anyone.

These were absolutely beautiful. I cannot wait to use them on my wedding day. You do need to be careful when taking them out of the package. they are in there pretty good so if you are not careful the stems will break off.

I received these toasting flutes last week and on one of them the base was not attached the stem. They do not look like there are diamonds in the stems. It just looks like pieces of glass which had no sparkle or shine to them at all. I would not recommend any one buying this product to use for a wedding or other special occasion!

I ordered this item 2 times hoping to use it at our daughter's wedding. Both times the flutes came with irregularities. The first time one base had a deep scratch in it and even though I had ordered the item new, the stickers were worn and looked like the flutes had been washed. The 2nd box had a chunk out of the base and looked like a manufacturing mistake. The chunk was melted into the base next to the area it came from. Although the price was great I also returned the 2nd one and purchased a different set at a local crystal store. Amazon makes returning an item very easy, so as long as you have enough time saving the money by ordering this item (which was beautiful in every other way), might be worth the risk.
