5 out of 5 stars This Is The Doctor Every Likes To Hate   May 19, 2008
House, M.D. - Season One
I refused to watch this TV series for two years. My children ages 16, 19 & 21 had been watching the show and raving about it. I saw a 10 minute scene with "Dr House" Hugh Laurie and thought he was rude, obnoxious and mean a purpose. Didn't plan on ever watching it again and by happenstance watched an episode where time was critical to a patient that had every test know to medical science and House's weird genius was clued in by some nothing comment by his best friend and solved the case. The thing I really like about the show is a great supporting cast that is easy to like. I like the fact that genius though House may be he is sometimes too smart for his own good and those around him take advantage of this which kind of evens out his rude, obnoxious behavior. Lisa Edelstein and Jennifer Morrison's characters are just tough enough to deal with this ego maniac and obivously this is one of the best written shows on TV today. The medical explanations are illustrated with special effects graphics that are easy to follow and compliment the storyline. "ER" has been and still is a great TV series but House M.D. takes it to a different level. You don't have 15 characters to develop and follow. This is some of the best TV yet.

4 out of 5 stars Longitudinal Fracture: wrong side of the skull   May 14, 2008
0 out of 1 found this review helpful

Cuddy pointed to House's skull X-ray at the left temporal bone, and declared House had a longitudinal fracture. But House had a bleeding wound at his right temporal region and House dripped blood from his right ear. The fracture should be at his right temporoal area. Most doctors are cognizant that the reader's left is the patient's right. The X-ray read by Cuddy clearly showed the filmed was taken from the left rear of the patient and the frontal (facial) view was away from the reader.

4 out of 5 stars cast infusion   May 7, 2008
After season 3 one would wonder what else the show could do. House has seemingly solved every medical mystery. The show seemed played out. We knew everything. This happens to every show after a few years. The genius of season 4 is to change the cast but not suddenly. We still see our favorites but there's new and suprisingly enough just as interesting characters to explore.

5 out of 5 stars The Best   April 17, 2008
This is the best television series ever. It is witty and interesting and just completely entertaining. Hugh Laurie is sexy as can be. He is one of the most brilliant character actors. His expressions, the way he moves his head, his wit......incredibly talented.
