Moonlight is the best show on TV January 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The only negative review could be from someone who has not seen this show. It is amazingly dark, humorous, intriguing, and sexy all at the same time. Obviously the casting is spot on. The look and feel of the show is something I have never seen before. Alex O'Loughlin is the sexiest man in Hollywood, Australia and the rest of the world. Let's just say it - Moonlight makes life worth living. Absolutely everyone I know, male and female now live for Friday nights. And when recorded you can enjoy it over and over again. I am just passing time until the next new episode.
Won 2008 People's Choice Award for Best New TV Drama - Over 10 million votes! THIS SHOW IS ADDICTIVE January 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This show leaves you wanting more and more and more! Alex O'Loughlin (Mick St. John) is perfect for this role! He says so much with his eyes without havingt o say a word. The chemistry between Mick/Beth, Mick/Coraline, and Mick/Josef is incredible! I have never followed a show so closely. It reminds me a lot of Beuaty and the Beast with Linda Hamilton with the whole forbidden love. It combines the perfect amount or sc-fi, action, and romance! TWO THUMBS WAY UP! 10 million people aren't wrong! Give it a try! Each episode is better than the last.
Pick your nose and leave a good entertaining show alone. January 11, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
There are a lot of shows out there that are alot like the shows of yesterday. Yet they are very entertaining. If you have not sat down and watched this show then you can't judge. I've heard it called the Angel for grown ups. True. I find the charactors very entertaining. The show has humor, drama, romance, excitement, and good looks. What more could you ask for. I have watch many vampire shows, including Dark Shadows, and I enjoy them. This one is very entertaining and instead of picking on it, why not sit down and enjoy it.
Long Time Coming January 7, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
It has been a long time since I've looked forward to seeing a show every week. Not since the X-files, actually. When all was said and done, that show was a pretty amazing love story. Moonlight has the same great chemistry between two leads who are learning what absolute trust and faith in one another are all about. Fun stories, a little campy, great one-liners and two beautiful leads. What's not to love?
I also love the look of the show. The photography is wonderful. Beautiful colors and funky buildings. You can tell the makers of this show have a great affection for an often maligned city. It's nice to see some of the great mid-century architecture and gorgeous night time views L.A. has to offer.
Moonlight is one of the more original shows to air in a very long time. Here's hoping it gets renewed.
Better than CSI January 5, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I never thought I'd find a show that captured my attention more than the original CSI with the tension between Grissom and Sara. This is sexier and the attraction between the main characters is obvious; I didn't have to wait 7 years to confirm the obvious. What keeps me watching? What's going to happen when Mick finds out Carolene is still a vampire? I'm routing for Beth;will he turn her? What about a great erotic scene with Beth and Mick. CBS PLEASE don't drop this series -what would I do on Friday nights?
