As an avid vampire flick watcher and lover, I am completely in love with this show! It dares to show that once a human has been "turned" that they still make their own decisions based on their human experiences if they so choose...or still be really nasty bad guys...or fall somewhere in between...I love the human love interest take...with vampires its always about lust and satisfying their needs and never thinking about the other person...and it's kinda cute how Mick keeps trying to say no to himself, when we (and Beth!!) are all saying...Heck Yes!!!

I'm with Sandy on this one. People who are obsessed with comparing this show to something that came before like Forever Knight, Angel, etc, need to let it go. Those old shows you cherish weren't so original either, borrowing quite a bit from prior efforts like Dark Shadows.
Moonlight has quickly found it's own 'voice' and gets more interesting with almost every episode.

It has flaws like any other show - but after watching each episode, I start waiting for the next one to become available. Not too many shows I can say that about.

Definitely the best new show this season. Have looked forward to each Friday evening and am TOTALLY disappointed lately that it's been delayed. Hope it's here for the long haul... Will most definitely buy the DVD as soon as they are released. Alex truly is this year's shining star and is complimented by his wonderful supporting cast.

This is the best new show this year and is a finalist for a People's Choice award. The lead character maintains just the right balance between dangerous and vulnerable. Looking forward to new episodes....in the meantime I'll be watching the reruns. I intend to buy the series DVD as soon as it is available.
