Buy a second battery. You will use this thing a lot. I bought it to file my dogs nails after way that junk advertised on TV. Dremel is the best and used in all industries.

This tool is way more versatile than I originally thought. It is well-balanced and remarkably easy to use. The battery charges quickly. Everything about this tool makes it a must-have. I've always thought it would great to own a Dremel, and with all the add-ons (wire brushes, polishers, cutters, grinders, sanders, etc) I'm sure I'll never rue the day I bought it.
Slot exhaust system for removal September 4, 2008
I used the Dremel 10.8 V Lithium ion cordless with 420 cutting disk to slot old exhaust connections when the underlying pipe (or muffler) has to be saved. Did a great job! See more at www.stepbystepvolvo.com.

Excellent Dremel. After owning powered and battery operated ones, this Dremel works best. No cords, long lasting battery. Excellent choice.

I have been using a Dremel tool for a long time, the old ones had great ball bearings and powerful motors. Today, both the cordless nad the corded units are mass producted and the quality is fair at best. I have gone thru three of these 10.8 volt cordless. As soon as it heats up during normal use, it shuts off or starts to smoke. Once they smoke they have had it! Buy a new one. Customer service is great, but the tools are not what they use to be.
