For the price: This product is great. The sole purpose for this purchase was to run a LapTop in my car while working. It works great for that. Also, if you have any concerns about the Fan Noise, don't. Its not noisey. The only improvement for this product would be to add another DC output into it somehow. I realized after the purchase and during my initial use that I also wanted to charge my cell phone while using the converter but my car only has one DC output. If your car is like mine, its a simple solution. Radio Shak sells a duel DC spliter for around $8. I'm sure you can get them elsewhere that just is where I purchased mine.
Perfect For Mobile Electronics February 3, 2007
I use this inverter to power my laptop and external hard drive while on the move. It's cool to the touch and quiet. I think my hard drive makes more noise. As a bonus, it's light and small. Perfect.

We use this inverter to power devices like laptops and CD players in the car. It works great every time and gets a lot of use on long rides.
My only complaint was the two outlets right next to each other. One of our devices has a wide adapter plug that covers the other outlet when plugged in.
A minor inconvenience.
This is a nice, solid way to get electricity for low-draw items in the car. I didn't have to buy a DVD player. Just use this inverter with my laptop (15" screen) and run DVDs as long as I want for the kids.

Great power interter, what made me buy it was the convenience of the long cable(to the car) and the two power outlets.
My only complain is that the internal cooling fan is really loud when is cold(winter time).

I love this inverter. I keep it in my SUV all the time. It is great for powering my laptop. I have a GPS program that I run on my laptop and it is awesome on a long road trip. It's great for the video game systems, too.
