Black and Decker Simple Start Battery Booster January 19, 2007 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
My nephew doesn't use his car often enough and he had to use this twice while at college. It's a relief knowing that he has something reliable.

Limited use so far, but it was easy to set up and simple to use
Need to see how long charges last between charging
can not be used on older model cars January 18, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Be sure your car has the outlet for connecting this charger. It could not be used in my lighter outlet; newer model cars have the correct outlet for this item but not my 2003 Kia. However it is a great product if you can connect it in your model car.
Won't work on an older car! January 17, 2007 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This charger did not work on my old toyota van. I finally had to use a plug into the house outlet, and charge it overnight. This booster just doesn't seem very powerful. Wouldn't buy it again.

Not worth the money I'd rather buy a jumper starter for the same amount and have my car start ASAP. The idea is good but unfortunately I should have read about the whole product. You have to let it charge the battery for 10 min. before it will start. Thats a long time when your waiting. And the selling point was that you did'nt have to get out of your car in the elements, well it's still cold in a car that's dead with no heat. I'd rather tough it outside for 2 minutes than wait for this piece of crap.
