B&D Battery Booster January 10, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this item as a Christmas gift for my son and husband. They own a older vehicle with minor starting problems, so this will come in handy. Thanks for a great product!

Due to make of vehicle advised not to use. Car has computers in it. Recommended to not use .
This is a must have for yourself or a loved one. January 9, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I loved the first one so much I bought a second one and gave it away as a gift to a good friend and his wife. I am disabled so this was a must have! Getting out of the car is not always an option for me. (or perhaps a woman that is stranded late at night someplace. No disrespect intended by thar comment. I just wouldn't want my wife to have to get out of the car at night or have to wait and let some gut jump-er......Pardon the pun.)
I'd be cautious about this product January 3, 2007 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
How it works: After the unit is pre-charged on AC power, you plug it in to your cigarette ligtter receptical in your car, hit the Boost Button, WAIT 15 minutes for it to recharge your dead battery - THEN you start the car. Problem: The cigarette lighter plug would not fit the receptical in my car. So the bottom line is it won't work for my GM 1987 Pontiac FireBird. The plug is too long - so now I have to buy an adapter - if there is one. The charger emits a continuous beeping sound signifying no boost charge is possible. The built-in light is OK, but it is more of a beam than a wide-angle spread. Its compact. I use it to charge my cell phone. That's about it.
