| Customer Reviews:
No problems at all September 24, 2008 Ya know, I was very apprehensive about purchasing this product after reading the reviews, but I took a chance.
The price was very good (although I did not get the free shipping like I should have), and it arrived much sooner than expected.
The product itself has worked flawlessly. I am using a Liteon DVD burner at a maximum of 8x speed. Once I used it at 4x speed, but could see no difference, so I will use the 8x until there are issues.
I would recommend buying these disks, and I certainly would buy them again for my own usage.
Utterly defective, worthless product, refund MINUS postage September 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The first 7 of 8 blank dvd discs I tried to record on were defective. I returned this garbage but was still charged for shipping. I would avoid Memorex blank discs at all costs, and certainly those in their pack of 50.
Total Garbage September 14, 2008 I had 6 of these error in a row. I started to think something was wrong with my drive (NEC brand), until I tried a Fuji, and two burned just fine.. Then I tried a couple more Memorex and they burned OK, but then I got a few more failures.. Overall I wasted about half the spindle on error outs.. I do NOT recommend this product. This is not the first time I've had problems with Memorex media either, CD-R's & 3.5 floppy, etc.. You might save a few bucks at first but in the long run you're gonna waste a bunch of time and dvds, so really its no savings.. I recommend Fuji, Philips, Imation or Verbatim for quality dvd+r dl media..
Great Value!!!! September 8, 2008 These DVDs are great! I have bought tons of them and have rarely had problems with bad burns or "coasters". They are a terrific bargain for DL DVDs. I use them mostly yo back up my DVD collection. As long as I keep the burn speed to 4x for movies/video, I never have any problems playing in any machines. For data, I can burn as fast as the DVD burner allows. I highly recommend these discs.
Unreliable September 5, 2008 I have been through about 20 DVDs out of this spindle of 50 and NOT A SINGLE ONE has worked for me yet! How do I know that the problem is with the disks and not my equipment? When I got frustrated enough to go out and buy another brand's DVD+R DL disks, I was able to burn on them easily and reliably...every time. I will not name the brand because I am not trying to advertise for them. My purpose is only to warn the perspective buyer of these Memorex DVD+R DL disks that if you purchase them, you are literally risking throwing your money in the garbage. That is not even considering the wasted time and frustration that you may experience if you receive a batch similar to the one I have. Needless to say, I will NEVER purchase Memorex DVD+R DL disks again!
