Sturdy but could have more handy features April 11, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a very sturdy little item for yard work, but it is very low to the ground to be handy to sit on if you have any back problems or you carry any extra weight. Would be nice if it was a few inches taller. The storage compartment under the seat is kinda inaccessible, and it would be nice if the seat popped up so you could get to what you store in there. Would also be nice to have a "tongue" so that you could pull it along.
Garden Hopper March 31, 2008 Great little garden helper. I had a different one that was too high, causing me to stand on my head when working in my garden. This one is lower and much more sturdy. The only inprovement would be a way to pull it along and maybe fatter tires. I'm going to drill a hole in the drink cup and attach a small rope but something ready made for those less handy would be nice. And I work in a vegetable garden so tires that move in dirt better would be nice. But at least I get to sit while I work. This company should make more gardening helpers.
Small February 8, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
It looks bigger in the picture and it is too small to do much with it. Ace Hardware sells some that are much nicer for about $5.00 more.
Great inside the house, too. January 2, 2008 I bought this item for my wife to use in the yard because she has a bad back and has difficulty leaning over to plant flowers. It still hasn't made it outside! We've been using it in the house! It's ideal for both of us to sit on while we change diapers on our small children and play toys with them on the floor. It's fantastic for those of us who have diffuculty getting down on the floor and back up again. I might have to buy a second one for outside use.
Just one problem December 9, 2007 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
There's only one problem with this stool - you can't leave it outside if there's any possibility of rain. The hole in the top leaks water down into the storage cabinet - bad news for rustable parts and garden gloves. I tuck mine under the eaves. That's OK for straight-down rain but no good for blowing rain. Otherwise it's great.
