 Simple Sturdy Gazebo July 22, 2008
The product is sturdier than anything I found in the Home Improvement stores at the same price and the fully assembled unit is very appealing. Unfotunately it arrived with missing hardware which caused me to delay assembling the unit, but after one phone call to Amazon customer service the replacement parts were shipped two days later and I have been very happy with the unit ever since.

First, we received this product in a box that was ripped and shredded and had been re-taped just to hold it together. Second, all the brackets were missing. We notified Amazon of our problem and they said we would have to send the product back to them or try to get a hold of the manufacturer to order the brackets. Getting a hold of the manufacturer (Strathwood) was impossible and to send the gazebo back we would need a new box, since the one it came in was ruined. Amazon refused to send a box, so we had to go buy a gazebo at target and we used that box to return the gazebo to Amazon. This gazebo was about 120 pounds and over six feet tall. Try to find a box that size. Our experience with Amazon was absolutely horrible. When you speak to the representatives you can't even understand what they are saying. I believe we were speaking to individuals in India. When I asked for a supervisor the represenative said they didn't have one. Using Amazon was a horrible experience and I would think twice before deciding to use them. They give you the run around and do not care about you as a customer.

THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT!!! It was easy to assemble (best with two people); looks great; fabric seems to be rain resilient; looks cute on my patio!

We got this gazebo 1 month ago. It looks very nice. We have it on the deck, matches the house, shutters and roof color. It has a holes (2 on each side) on the roof so when it rains the water goes down trough and doesn't cause the tarp (holes prevent holding the water on the top of the roof). We got the instructions and all the parts, everything packed fine. The only one thing was missing is a piece of velcro (not a big deal).

We also bought this when it was priced low. We had to get something so we could sit outside as we live in an area where EEE was found. This has far exceeded our expectations. The size is perfect to fit on our deck. I would advise that a third person help when putting the top on, although we did it with 2. We put the netting on differently than pictured so that it is on the outside of the posts and doesn't blow in so far when it's windy. This color also blends in well with our aged cedar house shingles.
