This mower is perfect for my needs. November 29, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The best thing is the light weight. It does everything a heavy noisy mower does and I can carry it around on one hand. Love it. Tall weeds get tangled on the axle, but it is easy to untangle them by hand.
Old-fashioned is great. October 10, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I received this product on time and with no problems. It was easy to assemble and has worked great for several mowings. If you want a low price, no pollution, and to get exercise when you mow your lawn, this fits the bill. Definitely not for large yards but great for small ones. If you have lots of twigs or sticks falling in your yard, don't get this as they tend to stick in the blades.
Great trimming mower! September 30, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a great little mower for doing small trim up jobs or getting small sections of lawn. It's no harder to push than a regular gas mower (that is not self-propelled, of course). It makes a little noise that sounds like a bunch of people opening and closing scissors - but it's still very quiet compared to a gas mower - plus when it is time to mow, just take it out and start pushing it around. No gas cans, no running to the gas station, no checking the oil, no extra heat coming off the engine, no exhaust fumes to breath in, no spark plug going bad, no pull rope breaking, ... you get the idea. If you find this thing difficult to use you need to get a physical checkup right away, get on a diet, and start slowly exercising (Push the mower at a slow pace) - at least until you get rid of the first hundred pounds. Anyways, now that I've offended all the lazy people who complain reel mowers are hard - if you're a normal person and you have any desire to help do your part to reduce pollution (fumes and noise) then don't hesitate to try one of these things out. I'm glad I ended up giving it a try. If I had an average size lawn to mow I would move up to a 18 - 20" reel mower. I've also bought the fiskar's long handled grass shears in place of a weed eater. It's very light and easy to use - though more time consuming.

I'm disappointed in the lawn mower I received. For one it is shown in blue, and I received it in orange. It does not cut the grass properly, and the reel catches on the bottom plate. It has to be turned manually to get it started again. The price is too high for the quality.
