The product came very quickly. It was in perfect condition. It's lightweight and easy to use. It straightens my hair smoothly and quickly and leaves it feeling silky.

The Chi iron has met my expectations. It does a much better job than flat iron's available at mass retailers. I previously spent $50 on a Conair iron at Wal-Mart and consider the Chi well worth the cost. I only give 4 stars, because of the simplistic nature of the iron - only an on and off option? I was expecting a little more than that...

I LOVE this thing. I'm a black female who had to stop using conventional relaxers 5 years ago. I had been searching for a method to straighten my hair. I tried regular hotcombs, electric hotcombs and all types of flat irons. After years of failure, I went to a beautician who used the CHI on my hair and I was sold. I ordered one from Amazon. I know another black woman left a comment that it left her hair frizzy - NOT if you apply pressing oil (like Bergamot) to your hair first. I sometimes use PHYTO botanical hair relaxing balm after I wash it, but even when I don't use that, the CHI still gets my hair silky straight. I don't blow dry my hair anymore - I wash it, braid it, let it air dry then section it off, put a little Bergamot on each section from the root to the ends, then flat iron it. I can get it done in less than 30 minutes! It's never looked this good before. A co-worker and a woman in my building told me they didn't even recognize me - that's how much better my hair looks now after using the CHI. I am so completely happy with this, after searching for over 5 years. I hope they never stop making it.

This CHI flat iron does what I expected it to with no complaints. I had never used a flat iron before, read many reviews and settled on this product based on reviews and price point. I am not disappointed. The iron heats up fast and reheats between use with no problems. The iron is a good size, light with a nice long cord- longer than that of my hairdryer which is helpful. The edges are slightly rounded which works great for flipping the ends up or down with ease and no creases.
