The Catit drinking fountain is wonderful, however the cartridges are a little bit overpriced. I wish you could take them apart and remake them -believe me, I have tried.

Although this is only a replacement cartridge...these filters work nicely on the new cat drinking fountain I've recently purchased.

This fountain beats any of the competitors. The filters, however, don't last any longer than other types, but they do contain more carbon than Petsmart's. One will easily last 6 weeks if you rinse it once a week. Easy to install and really purifies the water. Good invention!
