 furminator does what they say it does November 1, 2008
Although it is expensive compared to other dog brushes, Amazon gave me the best price. My dog has a lot of undercoat that is shedding all over the house. Unlike my other dog brushes, the Furminator did a great job in alleviating the shedding problem. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. If the price was cheaper, I'd give it a 5 out of 5.

The FURminator works wonders on your animal's coat. It removes an amazing amount of loose hair leaving the coat looking healthy and minimizing the amount of shed hair around the house. Definitely worth the price. The 1.75 inch edge is a good size for animals from cats to med-large dogs.
This product is far superior to (and different than) a standard grooming brush.

I think this is a great product. I can't tell why it is much different than a shedding knife, but it is much more efficient. Since using this on my yellow lab I have seen a dramatic difference in how much dog hair is all over the house. We have all hardwoods and it seemed that I was constantly finding piles of fur no matter how often I vacuumed. I used this every day for a week to begin and have now reduced it to once a week or less and can tell a big difference around the house. I highly recommend it!

I have a pug that sheds a lot. Using the furminator daily really cuts down on the shedding and he seems to like the use of the furminator.

My sister purchased this item the fuminator and just raved about it. So having two Golden Retrievers we purchased it also. Let me tell you the hair that comes out with this thing is remarkable.And they feel so much better.You just brush them with it and it comes out so easy. I would reccomend the Furminator to any one with dogs. Order online because they're more expensive in the pet stores.
