works great but I have a part collie and it did not do well on his back end but he is shedding this time of year and the back end get pretty knotted.

This works so much better than any other cat brush I have ever used! I bought the medium brush online since it cost about half compared to the petstore. It was worth every penny. I have 3 short hair cats, one of which has a very wooly undercoat. This has been the only brush that has ever managed to tackle it. Plus the shedding has been much more under control with using this about once every three weeks than when I used my old brush.

The Furminator is a great tool for a dogs undercoat. I have dark wood floors and dailey it was looking like furry tumbleweeds. I started using my Furminator once a week with regular brushings every 3 days my tumbleweed problem has been eliminated.

If you are constantly sweeping floors and vacuming carpet & upholstry because of dog hair/dander, you'll love this product. Especially if you have large, long-haired dogs like I do (four of them)! My Vet was selling the Furminator for $54. I decided to look for it online, and am so glad I did. I found it at Amazon.com where I paid just over $26., less than half the price my Vet was charging. This tool is not like other grooming brushes. The Furminator does more than just brush; it actually "trims" my dog's downy undercoat, where the hair is dense and tends to matt. I was amazed the first time I used it. And, best of all, my "babies" love it. They fight over who gets to be "brushed" first, and line up waiting their turn. It's a riot! Great product. Great price. You can't miss.
