3 out of 5 stars Fun for all ages   October 11, 2008

I bought this toy for my daughter last year for Christmas. She was 1 1/2 at the time and she LOVES it. The music is her favorite part. The air flow isn't great on this. It causes the balls to fly around and you have to pick them up and put them back constantly. Several occasions my daughter has gotten hit in the head and face by the balls. I've also had problems with it coming apart when she tries to pick it up and then I have to put it back together. You would think that Playskool would have made it so that it wouldn't come apart so easily. Overall though, it's a fun toy and my daughter ejoys it, she thinks that picking up the balls is just a game.

1 out of 5 stars What a waste!   October 11, 2008

My husband bought this toy for my 11 month old daughter and she hated it. She is so used to playing with wooden toys that she just started at this toy because of the high level of noise it makes. There is a motor on it that is so LOUD. This toy has no educational value and I put it back in the box. I would rather buy a wooden toy that elevates her imagination and creativity.

3 out of 5 stars Good cause and effect lesson   October 11, 2008
My son learned that if he put the ball in one hole it will come out the other. (Cause and effect)He also learned that because the air is blowing one one hole it will be blown up in the air. He can see the motor moving when the machine is turned on. If you can put up with the vacuming sound it makes it keeps the baby busy for a long time. You'll have fun watching them play.

5 out of 5 stars Even the cat loves it   October 1, 2008
My three (now four year old) still loves this toy as does my 18 month old AND the cat. I only wish it had more balls - I am missing about three right now since the balls do fly everywhere (helped by the cat I am sure).

2 out of 5 stars A good workout for mom as I go chasing balls around the house   September 30, 2008

This is a cute toy and when the balls pop up and actually land back in the yellow dish, it's a lot of fun. My 9 month old giggles at it, even though he doesn't get what to do with it really.

My big beef with it is that the balls rarely go back in the toy, they usually pop up and fly across the room. I spent the good part of the first hour with this toy just chasing balls down in the hardest to reach parts of my house (the balls must have some sort of sensor that attracts them to the furthest corner under the couch).

Since the balls are never near the toy, the kid doesn't get to play with them much. It's a good work out for me though.

It's also really annoyingly loud and obnoxious in the sound effects department.
