Every dad who loved hot wheels as a kid should buy one of these radar guns (as a gift for his child, of course). It adds a new element of fun to racing the cars down a track, and can even be educational. My daughter now knows for sure which of her Hot Wheels is fastest.
It is simple to use, and can even be used on other moving objects such as bikes and real cars. I can't believe that this technology is available at such a low price. We have only had it for a short time, so I cannot speak to durability. It does seem to be well constructed, though.

Pretty much one of the most incredible toys ever... its hard to get tired of clocking people speed by on the side of the road.... good cheap fun that actually works....

Gave this to my boy for Christmas last year. It was the HIT of the party. Out of all the gifts, even the BIG kids played. Even clocks real cars, real speeds.

We purchased 6 of these for the "kids"(ages 5 to 54) on our Christmas list. We had so much fun on Christmas day timing everything from the adults running foot races (hilarious!) to the kids riding bikes, to the squirrels running on the fence, to the cars driving down the street. The possibilities were limitless!!! This radar gun also offers a very cool opportunity to teach the kids some math with the conversion to scale. I can't tell you how much fun it was with the adults, teenagers(yes,the teenagers!) and little guys in our family interacting. Everybody agrees that this was the best Christmas ever with memories that will last for a lifetime! And all of this because of a very cool toy!

I GOT THIS FOR CHRISTMAS, AND I DON'T WANT TO STOP USING IT. ALTHOUGH IT'S REAL PURPOSE IS TO BE USED ON HOTWHEEL CAR'S IT IS HARD TO CLOCK IN THERE SPEED, BUT IT WORKS GREAT ON CARS IF YOUR WATCHING FOR SPEEDERS, PLAYING BASEBALL, OR EVEN RIDING YOUR BIKE OR SCOTTER. THIS IS A GREAT BUY AND I RECOMEND IT TO EVERYONE
