Takes Horrible Pictures November 13, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Believe me when I say that this camera takes horrible pictures. It may be okay for a toy for play, but don't expect it to take decent pictures inside or outdoors. The flash is useless beyond about 4 feet. Within four feet, the flash washes out the image. Even in bright outdoor sunlight, the images are grainy and blured.
AVOID THIS CAMERA - Poor value for money - October 20, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
A sturdy, kids-proof camera - cannot fault that... ....BUT....
Poor quality pics...most pics were out of focus. Poor resolution - no specs on the box but it certainly isn't 640x480 like other cameras. No sounds on the camera when buttons are pressed - pity. No special effects or editing software included.
We returned this after a week and got the V-Tech model for $10 more. Far better pics, great editing functions, special effects, and sounds too.
My little boy loves it October 19, 2007 This camera has been good for my 3 yr old. He kept wanting to use daddy's camera so we got him one of his own to save mine. He likes to run around and take pictures, a lot of pictures. It is simple enough for him to operate it on his own, and the battery has lasted pretty well. The camera has a auto-shut off so when it gets left on it will shut itself off.
The sound effects do leave a bit to be desired. It is pretty loud, but it does help to make sure that "surprise" pictures don't remain on the camera. The picture quality is not the best, but he doesn't mind.
Stopped Working After 3 Months October 3, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son enjoyed this camera while it lasted, but after 3 months the camera "froze". The screen was on and none of the buttons worked anymore. The only way to turn it off was to remove the batteries. I expected more because of the amount of money I spent!
Great for little photographers! September 6, 2007 This camera is great for toddlers who want to do everything that Mommy and Daddy do. It has definately saved my camera from potential damage! My toddler loves to take pictures and this was perfect for him. The pictures are blurry especially in the LCD screen so an older kid might get frustrated. It is pretty heavy with all the batteries in it. It has a automatic shut off if it gets left on for even a short time and I love that, really saves batteries. Overall a great buy, keeping him away from my camera more than pays for it.
