5 out of 5 stars I can't get enough of this one!   February 8, 2008

This workout is very challenging and I love it. I have other workout DVDs and videos, but this one is by far the best. It really gets your blood pumping!

5 out of 5 stars A Workout DVD That Inspires   January 6, 2008

I've been doing Tae-Bo for a couple of years now but only had 3 of the videos. I wanted to try something cardio and this gave me what I was looking for. I wanted something challenging, not wimpy, that would make me feel like I'd done a workout. This definently did. Some workout videos you watch and do simply because you want to burn off the massive serving of chinese food you had for dinner (or breakfast). That's the mentality I usually adopt, but this workout dvd made me want to continue doing it not only because it was fun and challenging, but because it made me feel strong. It made me feel like I was doing something good for myself. Instead of wanting to call it quits, I wanted more. Not all the people in the class are especially good at tae-bo or extremely slim, so there's someone in the class that everyone can identify with. I found some moves extremely difficult and others easy. I would say that some people might find this DVD discouraging the first couple of times they try it, but as long as you do like 60% of it, you're still getting a major workout. Some of the stuff is really hard, so it's a DVD you can spend a lot of time with and not get bored.

Bad Things:
1. As you near the end of the workout it seems that Billy wants to throw in some outrageous moves that have no correlation to getting your body fit and toned, you feel ridiculous while doing them, they are hard to catch on to, and you only do them for about a minute. Annoying!
2. The 2 poor old people look like they're about to pass out the whole time. They make me cry.
3. The people in the back seem to be more new to it, which is nice, but they're not that great to watch for good form.
4. Billy shows off and it's annoying. He jumps around really crazily and you're like, "where did that just come from?"
5. 2-Minute speech Billy does at the end is wack and too long. "Will" does not equal "Wheel".

Interesting Fact: On the Tae-Bo website Billy answers a question about how many calories you burn during a Tae-Bo workout. The answer is that depending on your weight, age, intensity of the workout, etc. you most likely burn between 200-400 calories per 1/2 hour of Tae-Bo you do.

Tae-Bo's the way baby.

5 out of 5 stars Phew! What a workout!   December 11, 2007

You must burn a good 600-800 calories doing one of these workouts. They are amazing, they have it all- fast paced but still accessible- fun, great music and motivation from Billy- and good technique tips. I have being doing it once a day and I'm completely pooped when I'm done. These are just as tiring as running 5 or 6 miles! If you want to burn major calories while keeping your mind focused, these workouts are for you. I love taebo because they are one of the most, if not the most, difficult home exercise programs, yet they are also the most interesting! You change moves often so that you never get bored. And every part of your body gets worked. Definitely the best Tae bo series out there!

5 out of 5 stars If you want a kick (you know what) work out...   October 26, 2007
I decided on getting this video because I needed to get in shape for a photoshoot and I got this a few days ago and I already see the difference. Ladies and Gentlemen if you are looking for a kick butt workout look no further. They are moving in this video. Within the first 10 minutes I was sweating and I had to pause several times. I can't wait till I've been doing this for a month. My boyfriend had a great idea of alternating video 1 and 2 so my body doesn't get use to it. He also thought the warm up wasn't sufficient so maybe I'll do a five minute warm up before starting. I have worked with a personal trainer in the past with tough workouts and this is the closest alternative. Worth the buy if your focus is to get in shape. Happy workouts! :)

5 out of 5 stars Great workout for those advanced   October 9, 2007
This is a great workout that leaves you dripping with sweat and has your heart pounding. Definitely not for beginners though. This works you entire body, but especially your legs. I haven't gotten results like this with any other workout! Try it!
