Love it November 11, 2008 I can't believe I lived without this for so long. It's comfortable, has great sound quality and noise reduction and was super easy to sync to my phone and use. I would buy it again and recommend it for everyone who is still holding a phone to their head, especially while driving!
Best Plantronics headset by far November 10, 2008 I've had several of the smaller Plantronics headsets and this by far is the clearest-sounding, best noise-cancelling and easiest to use in noisy environments, both for the user and the person on the other end. Yes, it's larger and more obvious. But I'd rather talk naturally and hear clearly with a large headset than be embarrassed by shouting and repeating myself like an idiot into a small one.
Advantages: Excellent sound quality incoming and outgoing Different earpieces to customize fit Very comfortable once adjusted - I often forget I'm wearing it.
Disadvantages: Somewhat large Not easy to adjust On/off switch is microscopic
Very pleased November 10, 2008 I have used several ear-bud type bluetooth products and I like the Plantronics Vovager 510 the best. Although I was hesitant due to its size, after using one for about a year I forget it is there. I like the sound quality and the long battery life.
Nice and Loud November 10, 2008 After having a bluetooth for years and hardly using it, I found my self wanting a bluetooth I would want to use. My goals were to find a comfortable and loud bluetooth. My previous device wasn't loud enough when I was in loud areas, thus making it restricted to quite indoors. This device on the other hand I have to turn down the volume because the volume can go beyond my needs and get too loud. Its nice to be able to turn the volume up even more if needed and not have to move to a "quite room". The comfort level is also a nice plus, its very comfortable and I forget its there sometimes.
"Does the job" multipoint headset at decent price November 9, 2008 My first Bluetooth headset. Looked for something in mid/low price range (i.e. 40$ rather than 100$ range), supported my Nokia and had to be multipoint - I want to was a softphone on my laptop also. Pro: All in all a good purchase: Does the job, Good voice quality, Easy setup. Con: Power button hard to access and use I did have a problem pairing it to my laptop until I replaced Microsoft's stack with IBM's, but I guess that is not related to the headset. Also when changing pairing (i.e. between mobile and laptop) I have to power off and on the headset.
