I have had several memory foam pillows and I found this too hard and less than giving. I returned it and subsequently bought a Serta meomory foam pillow for a couple of dollars more. It was so far superior in quality in every way to this. Real Memory foam that acted like memory foam and MADE IN THE USA( not in China like this one)

Perhaps if someone is looking for a firm pillow this will be great. Personally, I found it far too firm, which also made the pillow too high. I have a memory foam mattress and its much softer.

I recently bought a foam memory mattress and I'm not able to really sleep with a loty of pillows like I used to without getting a wicked stiff neck the next day. I took a shot with this and it made a big difference, although I'm still getting used to how flat everything is. The contour part is a little weird at first, but you sink into it and if necessary, angle it until you get used to it.
 I prefer this to my Tempur-Pedic pillows February 23, 2007

I bought this to replace a Tempur-Pedic pillow that had gotten "musty" after several years of use.
The HoMedics foam material is very slightly different. It is not quite as soft but it stays cooler by itself, and also thanks to the ventilation holes through the pillow. This makes me actually prefer this over what I had before, even without considering the tremendous price difference.
Early indications are that this pillow will last a long time, as there is absolutely no sign of any deterioration, even with my significant movement during the night.
