Very Nice Towels with Extra Fine Loops November 1, 2008 I received one of these towels through the Amazon Vine program. It is a very nice towel that is very soft. It has much smaller loops to absorb dampness and although the towel is a bit small for my 6 foot frame, it could easily dry two people of my size. I thought this towel was especially good and absorbing water compared to many towels I've used over the years. The color was white, so I can't comment on the shade. What is white afterall, but I would consider buying some of these towels in the future, though probably in a slightly bigger size just because it would be a little more comfortable to have it slightly larger.
so soft and absorbent October 31, 2008 I use the hand towel -- which is pretty large -- as a bath towel. The towel is both very soft and very very absorbent, and it hasn't lost any of these nice properties after several washes.
This towel is large for a hand towel -- 20" x 30" -- which may be a pro or con depending on your intended use. It is large enough that most guys could probably use it for a bath/shower towel but it also means that it takes up additional space when it is in storage. It would also make a nice floor towel for stepping out of the shower.
820 grams of love October 28, 2008 I don't have the best track record with towels. Growing up, most of my towels were essentially shredded fabric that was miraculously hanging together, and they are no better now that I've moved out and snagged some to take with me (my mother was not very disappointed for some reason...). With that said, my current towel selection consists of barely viable towels and some cheap towels from Wal-Mart. You might consider the latter my "uptown" towels, as I feel rich when I use them and try not to overindulge.
So, this 820 gram towel from Pinzon just won't do. Pulling it from the package, I first noted that it did not have the big looped fabric look of my other towels, and I wondered if it would feel rough. It did not. In fact, it has a quite "plush" feel, which makes it very comfortable and somewhat awkwardly cozy at first blush. One problem with these types of towels is that they sacrifice absorbency for comfort, but this one performed admirably, leaving me no real criticisms.
Well, just one, and it's a deal breaker. I can hardly look at the rest of my towels now! Perhaps I will just save it for guests. However, if you are feeling the draw of luxury and want to leave your tattered past behind, I can recommend these towels as a nice bargain.
Just what I wanted October 26, 2008 These bath towels are excellent. They are almost twice as bulky as a typical towel and more than twice as heavy, but unlike heavy towels, such as the bamboo/rayon blends, they don't feel cumbersome or come undone due to their weight if you like to wrap them around yourself when damp.
A minor point is that the dimensions stated are 30"x56", I measured 29.5"x57" with my tailors tape, make of that what you will.
The product packaging was excellent as well, clear plastic shell, easy to open with instructions. As if a white towel needs any! However, the care label does say do not bleach so I shall not use bleach.
Thick Thick Thick!!!!!!!!! October 24, 2008 I really enjoy these thirty towels.....the are Awesome.....I only bought the wash towels but they were well worth the $.....Got a good sale + free s/h
