Good read and if you like it you will get completely sucked in... January 6, 2009 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I'm not a teen and did not know what to expect since I know this is aimed for that audience. (I'm a thirty-something!) Anyway, after about the first two chapters I got involved and enjoyed the book. Obviously it's an easy read but what draws you in is the mystery/suspense and unrequited love. It keeps you intrigued.

Twilight is very well written. It's an easy read, and it's fasinating from the very beginning. I enjoyed it so much, I couldn't put it down. I finished it within the same day I started it! I also enjoyed the rest of the series!
jewel2581 January 6, 2009 I absolutely loved the Twilight saga. I bought the collector's edition to replace my tattered paperback. It cost the same as the regular hardcover (on amazon). I love the black on black scroll design, the built in bookmark and the case it comes in. What I do not like is that there isn't an optional sleeve to cover the cloth cover, and I guess I expected more. Like a nicer bookmark, or for it to have a dust jacket, etc.
Very hard to put down January 6, 2009 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am not normally interested in these types of books; but, this was very well written and I truly enjoyed the story.

totally sucked in by the series. though it is very predictable, it reads like every girl's dream. thus the money spending to read the books(more like skim the unnecessary blocks of text, to the main points). i've read 3 in 2 days so not quite sure what plot lies in which book, but her ideas are definitely NOT original. plot spoiler...but werewolves and vampires being foes? definitely not new. she is no jk rowling, but she knows how to play to the audience's love for dramatic romance and fantasy.
