Disappointed January 11, 2007 5 out of 11 found this review helpful
I was disappointed in this book. Though it is filled with geat information, I felt the majority was about how to hire an assistant. I know to be a highly successful agent you need staff, but I was hoping for a book that did more to explain what the 'normal' agent (who doesn't yet have assistants) could do to improve their business.
This book is not just for Realtors! January 10, 2007 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Gary Keller recommends reading this book 12 times to master the systems and models to build your business, your wealth and your leverage. Anyone in a business that requires lead generating will get more than they could ask for out of this book. I am on my 3rd read and was halfway through the book and decided I wanted to get into Real Estate!
Rookies, Take Note! January 9, 2007 2 out of 8 found this review helpful
This title is for the novice in the business. The basic principles that Keller, etc. provides are not for the agent who wants to expand his business.....so buy another title.
21 years later, I found the secret! November 30, 2006 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
Do you want to build a team of agents that sell for you? If so, learn how to list homes and leverage your talent so that you grow your business. Why invent the wheel when others before you have done the ground work? This book will help you understand how the "mega agents" do what they do and how to create the same for yourself. As a real estate broker for over 21 years, I highly recommend that you follow these business models but you need to read this book first.
OK read, but not groundbreaking material November 29, 2006 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
I'd say buy and read it, but don't expect amazing revelations. The premise is to hire more people to do the work for you. That wil free you to do grander things or dream them up. Keep 100% of what YOU earn or keep 50% of what 5 others can earn FOR you.
