4 out of 5 stars maybe SD630 is better?   May 21, 2007
3 out of 20 found this review helpful

I purchased this SD750 for my parents. After reading some professional reviews for SD630 and SD750, I kind of think that maybe I should go with SD630. The shooting speed for SD630 is faster and it has several focus at the same time. In general, SD750 is good, but I am not sure whether it is better than SD630.

5 out of 5 stars Great camera!   May 19, 2007

I am very pleased with this camera. It is great for size, weight and ease of use. Was very easy to learn to use basic features and as have not yet tried manual settings unsure of those but directions appear straight forward. Would rec. to anyone looking for simple small camera as takes great pictures!

5 out of 5 stars Canon Quality   May 14, 2007

Bought this to replace a Canon SD400 which I thought was a great camera. The extra pixels with the SD750 make this a great product for the money! I think this camera is even more sensitive to shaking/motion when zoomed-in than the SD400, but it wouldn't stop me from buying this camera. I plan to buy a small monopod to help with those instances, or just steady myself against something. Love the size and the large viewing screen (which was my deciding factor to buy the SD750). Buy one and enjoy!

5 out of 5 stars Solid Construction, Digic III Face Detection is amazing   May 12, 2007

This is a great update to the SD630.

-7MP instead of 6MP
-Digic III instead of Digic II (with face detection that's NOT a gimmick)
-230,000 Pixels instead of 170,000 on the 3" screen, looks sharp
-Unbelievable startup time
-Image quality as expected from the PowerShot line

Overall a good camera and graduation gift for my little sis. :)

5 out of 5 stars the best for the price   May 12, 2007

it's a very nice small and effective camara, the best u can get for this price and category. very solid and the anti-scrach cover rocks. manuel modes of the camara are awesome, and face detection with red eye reduction works great. only drow back, it has no image stab. system, but with digit III and high ISO u wont notice the difference.
