I have truly enjoyed my new Fuji camera and all of the extras it has on it. I have taken some awesome pictures and I really like the 12X zoom.

OK, I will admit I was having problems with this camera at first, and thought of buying another camera, as most of my pictures were coming out dark or black until my dad messed with one of the settings, the high speed shooting. Then they came out great! And oddly enough didn't slow down the shutter speed at all. Since then I have gotten nothing short of outstanding!
I adore the zoom on this camera because a lot of times I take my camera to the ballpark and get higher seats. Great view for watching, but a lot of times not so great for most point-and-shoots. So the 12x zoom and the 10mp quality on this camera is perfect! If my picture isn't as up close as I would like, I can still crop in some without it looking grainy or pixilated.
The colors are great, although sometimes not as true without using an editing program, which is true of most digital cameras. Not the camera's fault, but most times it does stay true to color and lighting.
Working in a place that sells cameras I recommend this camera a lot to photographers (or parents) who want something more than your basic point-and-shoot.

For the price, this is an astounding buy! Takes great pics, and the zoom is amazing. LOVE IT!!!

I waited a long time to enter the digital photography arena, I use a 35mm SLR and never thought a digital could compare. Well, this one does, the instructions are easy to understand, it operates as advertised, the picture quality is amazing, features are useful and fun to use. The accompanying FinePix viewer is good, and the user manuel on CD provides extra hints and instructions for use.
I would recommend this product to anyone interested in owning a digital camera.

The camera based on limited use seems to be a well engineered item. I would much prefer a complete written instruction book though rather than the supplied cd in pdf format.
My opinion of Amazon though now stinks. I got the camera on 9/17/08. As of 10/6/08, the price has been cut twice by a total of $20 and they refuse to credit me the difference.
