This is my first bluetooth and I am very happy with it. It is clear and there is never any static and it is comfortable on my ear.

My friend told me about this bluetooth, because the one I paid more for in a store was really uncomfortable. Within a half hour my ear would start hurting. The Motorola HS850 Bluetooth is so comfortable. I would recommend it to everyone

This was the first bluetooth that i got and didnt want to spend much money until i knew i would use it a lot, because i wasnt sure how much i would need it. It has been a good bluetooth for the cash spent. I would buy it again. I am able to talk to my daughter with her using her bluetooth and the quality is pretty good.
 effect of hearing aid, beard August 31, 2008
I wear hearing aids, so most headsets (which are ear buds that stick into the ear) will not work for me. I chose this one because it rests on top of the aid. What I found is that the volume and clarity for me, the wearer, is great.
But, every listener on the other end of the call complains that I sound weak or muted. This could be because I have a beard that distances the pickup from my jaw. But, other headsets I have used with other phones did not have this problem. I'm looking for another headset because of this problem.
Built to last... August 30, 2008
I bought this product over 2 1/2 years ago and it finally died. I really had no problems with it during that period.
So, instead of paying for the higher priced ones that are out now, I bought this again. For less than $30, considering it will probably last another 2 years, this is a great buy.
